Carpet, Wood, Laminate, Vinyl, and Ceramic Flooring as well as Window Blinds, Shades and Shutters
Recently we had some remodeling work done and wanted to use local folks that we knew. That led us to Kilgore Carpets and Interiors for our new tile and carpet. Mike Hill was so helpful and accommodating that we knew we had the right folks for the job. His main crew at our home was primarily Marty and Mark who treated our home like it was theirs. The end result speaks for itself. So if you have plans for new tile or carpet, I personally recommend Kilgore Carpets and Interiors. Doing business with our local people in Kilgore was certainly the right choice for us!

You guys are the BEST to work with very professional fast and accommodating! Just can’t wait to do the rest of my windows! I LOVE my plantation shutters!
We are so thankful for Kilgore Carpets and Interiors.
We have owned our home for 31 years. In that time we have done a lot of living. As first time homeowners, we had a big box store install our carpet – it didn’t hold up to the family wear and tear we gave it. We then had Kilgore Carpets install carpet throughout our home. Fifteen years later we had them lay laminate vinyl flooring in our living room, hallway and bathrooms. They also put in 2″ faux wood blinds in our living room. They are a statement piece!
Five years later they came out to replace the carpet in all three bedrooms. This year we are having a kitchen remodel done and guess who we had install the gorgeous flooring? Yep! Kilgore Carpets and Interiors! And we absolutely LOVE it.
We are SO thankful for their professionalism in their sales force and also in the installers. They are so kind and truly helpful.
We will continue to use Kilgore Carpets and Interiors for as long as we own a home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you clean carpets?
No. We sold that part of our business many years ago. Please give us a call if you need help finding someone reputable to clean your carpets.
Do you refinish original hardwood floors?
No – but we can certainly help you find someone who does! Refinishing original hardwood floors requires specific machinery and is a very specialized field. It can be costly but is a worthwhile investment.
Which floor type is the least costly?
Like anything else in life, flooring cost is relative to product quality. We carry lines in every price point in each type of flooring. Sometimes a less costly floor will require significantly more prep work before installation, making it as expensive to install as a better quality floor. Our two cents – find a floor that fits your needs, then let us help you make a selection that fits within your budget.
Are floating floors for everyone?
Short answer… No, they are not. Floating floors have improved immensely since their introduction several years ago. The are quieter, prettier, and better constructed than they used to be. They are also very resilient and can be a great solution for your home. There are, however, a few things to keep in mind. If your home is on a pier and beam foundation or allows movement in any way, a floating floor may not be the best choice for you. Over time, the locking system can wear out and break, causing the floor to become uneven on its surface.
I love plantation shutters! Why do they cost so much?
So do we! They are a beautiful addition to your home – custom built to fit your windows. As such, we sometimes compare them to buying furniture. They can be pricey. But oh, so worth it! We have several options for our customers interested in buying shutters – but remember, you get what you pay for. Plantation shutters are an investment.
